Objective of IGEN GREENDAY 2026 : To motivate citizens, educational institutions, industries, NGOs and communities to #Act4Green by implementing measurable, Panchabhuta-based Green Actions that support the 1.5°C climate goal, strengthen community resilience, address climate challenges, and advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—transforming climate awareness into lasting environmental impact.

IGENGREENDAY, celebrated annually on 22 October by The Institution of Green Engineers (IGEN), aims to inspire and motivate global citizens to #Act4Green through measurable Green Implementation Actions, fostering a lifelong commitment to environmental care and empowering every individual to become an “Environmental Doctor” who helps harmonise the Panchabhutas—Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space—for a greener, healthier and sustainable Mother Earth.
