#IGENTalk4SDG aims to raise public awareness of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and motivate individuals to #ACT4GREEN in alignment with the global momentum of Global Goals Week (September), commemorated by the United Nations General Assembly.
This initiative is part of #IGENSDGProjects, designed to transform awareness into action through citizen-led and student-driven sustainability stories and practices. Outstanding project contributors will be recognised bi-annually on two globally significant occasions:
International Day of Happiness – 20 March & UN International SDG Flag Day – 25 September

How to act and initiate my project in IGEN?
Stage 01 : First Action through “MySDGstory” initiative
MySDGstory is a people-centric initiative that invites participants to choose their favourite Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), take one small meaningful action in support of that goal, and share their experience as a personal story. Through simple actions and authentic storytelling, participants transform everyday efforts into powerful SDG voices, inspiring others to understand, relate to, and act for the Global Goals.
MySDGstory proves that real change begins with small actions and personal commitment—when individuals act for the SDG they care about most, their story becomes a catalyst for collective impact.

Prepare a short story showcasing your SDG action and get ready the story

Stage 02 : Short term /Long Term Project Internship through “MySdgBigAction” implementation
🌍 Join #IGENTalk4SDG – Big Actions for Global Impact
The project is open to academic institutions, industries, NGOs, professionals, students, and the general public. Participants can join as SDG Organisations, SDG Ambassadors, or SDG Participants, implement small SDG-aligned actions, and share their impact through videos, photos, or stories.
The initiative follows a structured yet flexible process, encourages SDG chain participation, and recognises contributors through certificates, star ratings, medals, and SDG Action Awards. Outstanding organisations and individuals are honoured for driving measurable SDG outreach and engagement.
✨ Contributors receive recognition certificates, and outstanding performers become eligible for IGEN SDG Action Awards and SDG Medals.
