The ALBATRO Journey Begins for an Energy-Responsible Nation
The Institution of Green Engineers (IGEN) successfully inaugurated, Seerakku Presents
IGEN Energy Yathra 2025 on 01 December 2025 at 6:30 PM, launching a powerful 30-day national movement dedicated to National Energy Conservation Day 2025.
With the mission:
30 Days • 60 Campuses • One Mission – Energy Freedom through #ENSAV9MANTRAS
this initiative aims to encourage every family to save 1 unit of electricity per day, promoting a sustainable and energy-secure India.
The event was formally inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guests:

Founder & CEO – CommuniTREE

Their inauguration address highlighted the importance of youth leadership, behavioral change, and collective action for a Greener & Carbon-Responsible Nation.

The ceremony marked the symbolic start of
ALBATRO – The Energy Saver Mascot
who will travel across 60 institutions and industries to promote:
✔ Energy Efficiency ✔ Responsible Consumption ✔ Climate Action
aligned with UN SDG 7, SDG 12 & SDG 13

The campaign’s impact will be showcased during the Grand Closing Ceremony at the end of the Yathra.
