IGEN Conservation4Planet is an initiative of The Institution of Green Engineers (IGEN) aimed at promoting responsible conservation practices to protect the planet and support the targets of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This initiative encourages individuals, students, institutions, and communities to adopt sustainable habits such as energy conservation, water conservation, plastic reduction, waste management, and environmental protection.
Objective
The objective of IGEN Conservation4Planet is to inspire and mobilize people to practice conservation-oriented lifestyles by taking simple, measurable actions that reduce resource consumption, protect natural ecosystems, and contribute to a sustainable future for the planet.

Encourages households to save at least one unit of electricity per day by practicing 9 simple energy-saving actions (mantras) at home.
💧 Water Conservation – #WaterSave9Mantras
Promotes reducing household water consumption through 9 practical water-saving actions that can be easily adopted in daily life.
♻️ Plastic Reduction
Encourages individuals and families to minimize single-use plastics and adopt eco-friendly, sustainable alternatives to protect the environment.
