Call for Green Research Scientists to Join the IGEN Navaratna Research Nexus

IGEN VIBBGGYOR Navaratna is nine SDG-integrated planet verticals. The 9 colour verticals are Circularity & Waste Valorisation, Next Gen Transport, Sustainable Built Environment, Smart Agriculture & Food Systems, Energy Efficiency, Clean Air-Water-Ecosystems, Smart Health & Wellbeing, Digital Sustainability & Future Computing, and Safety Engineering & Global Standards.

Each of the nine verticals is grounded in science and purpose, with clearly defined 2030 numerical targets—together representing 2,450+ innovations/IPs, 500Plus Publications, 1,025+ planet-positive zones, 10,000+ certified Change Makers, 1,120+ conclaves & events, 1,750+ SDG Projects, and 4,500+ EDU Clubs worldwide. To achieve these targets, IGEN is proposing  IGEN Navaratna Research Nexus  under each vertical where researchers across the globe come together to plan and execute new future research and innovation work leading to research article publication, patent publication, book publication, and white paper publication.

IGEN Navaratna Research Nexus  is the global collaborative research platform of the IGEN Research & Innovation Consortium, bringing together researchers, academicians, scientists, industry experts, policymakers, innovators, and students under the nine VIBBGGYOR Navaratna verticals. The Nexus promotes interdisciplinary research, international collaboration, and innovation leading to high-impact journal publications, patents, books, book chapters, white papers, policy briefs, standards, and sustainable technology solutions that contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Objectives of the IGEN Navaratna Research Nexus

1. Foster Global Research Collaboration : To establish a multidisciplinary global research platform that connects researchers, academicians, scientists, industry experts, policymakers, innovators, and students to collaborate across the nine VIBBGGYOR Navaratna SDG-integrated research verticals, promoting knowledge exchange, joint research, and international partnerships.

2. Promote Research Excellence and Innovation : To facilitate interdisciplinary research and innovation leading to high-impact journal publications, conference papers, patents, books, book chapters, white papers, policy briefs, engineering standards, technology transfers, prototypes, and intellectual property (IP) that address emerging global challenges.

3. Develop Sustainable Solutions for Global Impact : To generate evidence-based, scalable, and practical solutions that contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), support informed policymaking, and create measurable societal impact through collaborative research, innovation, and international dissemination of research outcomes.
